Halfway through Season 3 of the Amazon Prime crime drama series Reacher, it appears lead star Alan Ritchson is not taking any prisoners whatsoever.
Ahead of the release of Episode 6, Reacher dropped a new mid-season trailer on Rotten Tomatoes, revealing key plot details. The trailer sees former U.S. Army military policeman Jack Reacher reveal the smuggling operation he’s investigating is trafficking guns, not drugs.
In his search to find missing DEA informant Teresa Daniels, Reacher also reveals his quest to enact vengeance on former U.S. military intelligence lieutenant colonel turned arms dealer Francis Xavier Quinn, played by Brian Tee. However, whether he will succeed or not remains up in the air. Fans can certainly expect the stakes of Reacher’s undercover operation to escalate as the season progresses to its grand finale.
The third season of Reacher premiered on February 20, and adapts Lee Child’s popular novel Persuader. The season also sees Maria Sten reprising her role as Frances Neagley, Reacher’s trusted ally. This comes in the wake of reports that Sten will be headlining a new spin-off focused on Neagley, which is currently in production.
Fresh ahead of the third season of premiere, Reacher was renewed for a fourth season by Amazon Prime.
Reacher is streaming now on Prime Video, with new episodes releasing weekly every Thursday.
