BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Demolition is underway at the Sheetz station in Barboursville located along East Mall Road near Interstate 64.
Crews have torn out the gas pumps and are currently working on tearing down the actual building itself.
Sheetz employees from this store were relocated to other Sheetz locations in the surrounding area, while the remodel is underway.”
Remodel work will begin once the demolition is completed.
“Sheetz is rebuilding the station at East Mall Road in Barboursville. We will be removing the petroleum underground storage system and installing a new system,” the company said on Thursday.
Officials expect the location to reopen mid-September with a new layout.
